Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how GuideKart ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses and safeguards your personal information when you visit https://guidekart.in or purchase a digital product from us.
1. Who operates GuideKart
GuideKart is owned and operated by Ritesh Gupta. Contact: [email protected]. Business address: House no. 226, Gali no. 83, Shiv Kunj, Sant Nagar, Burari, Delhi, Delhi, 110084, India.
2. Information we collect
We collect only the information reasonably needed to sell you a digital product and support you afterwards:
- Name, email address and phone number you enter at checkout.
- Order details, order/payment identifiers, product purchased, amount and status.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type and coarse location, when your browser makes a request to our website.
- Any message you send us for support and the information you choose to include in it.
3. Why we collect it
- To process your order and deliver the digital product.
- To provide customer support and respond to your queries.
- To prevent fraud, abuse and misuse of our website and download links.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations under applicable Indian law.
- To send transactional communications about your order.
4. Payment processing
Payments on GuideKart may be processed by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI PINs, CVVs, OTPs and banking passwords are handled directly by the payment processor and are not stored on our servers. We receive only the order identifier, payment identifier, amount, currency and status from the payment processor, which we use to confirm your order and deliver your download. Payment information is handled according to the payment processor's own policies and applicable law.
5. Service providers
To operate our store, we rely on a small number of service providers:
- Cloudflare — hosting (Pages), database (D1), storage (R2), CDN, DNS and admin access.
- Razorpay — payment processing.
- Resend — sending transactional emails such as your order and download link.
- Meta (optional) — where enabled, we may share hashed identifiers with Meta's Conversions API to measure the effectiveness of advertising. Identifiers such as email and phone are SHA-256-hashed before transmission and are used only for aggregate measurement.
6. Cookies and analytics
GuideKart does not use third-party advertising trackers on the storefront. A Meta Pixel may be loaded on the site to measure conversions if enabled by the operator; if you prefer not to be tracked, you can block third-party cookies or use browser tracking-protection features. Essential first-party cookies may be used for security and to keep the admin dashboard signed in.
7. Data retention
We retain order records, invoices and customer contact information for as long as we need them to provide support, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements and defend legal claims. Non-mandatory personal information can be deleted on request.
8. Data security
We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data — HTTPS everywhere, encrypted storage, server-side signature verification of payments, and administrator authentication protected by Cloudflare Access. No online service can be perfectly secure; please choose a strong password for your email inbox and do not share your download link.
9. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers listed above (strictly for the purpose of running the store) and with courts, regulators or law-enforcement authorities when we are legally required to do so.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to correct, update or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected] from the address associated with your order. We may need to retain limited information required for legal, tax or accounting purposes.
11. Children's privacy
GuideKart is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
13. Contact
For privacy questions, email [email protected]. See our Contact page for phone and address.
